When No One Else Believes In You

The other day I asked for your help.

What I needed help with was finding out what you wanted and needed to
know about and what you're looking for.

One of the biggest things were beginners asking how to compete with
large affiliates... and basically what the heck to do in the
beginning.

So this lesson in this post is mandatory before we get into those kind
of things.

You see... no one is going to believe in you.

No one is going to believe you can do this.

If I were you, I wouldn't even tell anyone what your doing because you
risk your momentum deflating like a popped balloon.

You've got to be calm, confident, and most of all persistent.

I'll admit it's tough to do when no one seems to be as enthusiastic as
you are about it.

Well, don't even tell them about it. Protect your dream or you leave
it out in the open to get squashed.

There was once a weird psychological experiment done on a grade school
class.

One year they decided to randomly split up the kids into Class A and
Class B.

The Class A students all year were thought to be the smarter students.

Even though before the experiment they were no different than the Class
B students.

Their parents were proud of them for being in Class A.

The Class A kids performed well in school. They even scored high on
their final exams.

Did they perform better because they were treated as Class A students?

The Class B students, on the other hand, performed way below the Class
A students.

Remember, before the experiment they were on the same level as the
Class A students.

Yet how did they become poor students?

Because they were told they were poor students by being stuffed into
Class B.

That's why...

You DON'T give anyone else the chance to even tell you you can can't do
this stuff.

That's why you keep your dream a secret.

If you don't do that, then there's little chance you will ever be
successful... even if you know all you need to know.

So can you make this stuff work?

Did Billy Ray Syrus get rich and famous for signing about his achy
breaky heart?

Heck ya he did.

And if he can get rich and famous for that song, then you can do this
stuff.

How Are You Changing Your Biz In The New Year?

I'm curious how you guys and gals are changing your business in the new
year.

Around this time of the year I start to reflect on what I've done this
year and what I'm going to do next year.

Are you like that too?

Tell me what you're looking to do next year.

Here's what I've been thinking about...

For one, I want to turn this new blog into an authority site.

I want it to be my "home base" on the net, where I communicate with
others and share insights.

I'm also hoping it'll become an asset down the road.

The next thing I want to do is crank up my Amazon commissions using my
new autopilot SEO sites strategy.

I'm fairly new to selling physical products and I like it a lot... only
making $100s per month with it at the moment, but starting to crack it
open a little.

To be honest I think the most profitable thing I'll be doing next year
is something I've been wanting to do for a while...

Are you curious what it is?

I'm thinking (maybe even planning) on starting a massive original PLR
empire.

Not a membership site that slangs other PLR I find on the web... but
PLR I create and PLR I create along with JV partners.

The site I just registered is called RawPowerPLR and I imagine I'm
going to build out my empire on that site alone using Rapid Action
Profits.

I'm probably going to do a massive "mind dump" into all this PLR and
hope that it circulates throughout the internet marketing world like a
wildfire.

Why PLR?

I think there's a broader market for it than tons of other types of
products.

Because let's say you do a product on how to get comments on your
blog...

Only a certain fraction of marketers will be interested in it.

But a huge % of marketers sell things. (I mean... you almost gotta to
make money unless you're an AdSense guy).

So providing all of them with PLR products seems like a good plan.

I Need Your Help!

I need your help.

All I need you to do is answer 1, 2 or all of these 3 questions...

Question #1: What would you like to get out of this blog or what types
of posts would you like to see more often? How-to posts? Insider
secrets? More guest posts from random affiliate marketing experts?
Just pure entertainment posts? More opinions about stuff?

Question #2: What are you struggling with the most? The reason I ask
is because I have guys on speed dial who do services for me and others
all day long. I'm sure they could provide the same services for you.
They can set up squeeze pages, install WordPress sites, create review
sites, and more.

Question #3: If you could learn anything from an info product, what
would it be? About free traffic generation? Paid traffic?
Listbuilding? Finding hot niches? Converting traffic into
commissions?

The reason why I ask you these questions is because I've been listening
lately.

SEO Sites On Autopilot: My Latest Strategy [In Testing]

Dear subscriber,

Even though I just started doing this and I have absolutely no data to
share with you, I want to tell you about this new strategy and the
reasoning behind it.

Basically here's what's going down...

I was spending too much on outsourcing and managing outsourcing... and
spending too much time tweaking and approving articles I was buying.

Not that I'm THAT lazy, but I wanted to figure out, "How can I cut
costs and cut time?"

I didn't think I'd be able to put it on 100% autopilot but I've figured
out a way.

And a way to do it relatively cheap.

First of all I go do keyword research and I only look for a handful of
things...

1. The keyword must have over 100,000 unique monthly searches.

2. The keyword must have profit potential.

3. The sites that have the #1 spot in Google for the keyword must be
affiliate sites I can compete with.

And I'll look at backlinks and stuff like that to make sure it's not
totally out of reach.

Generally if I'm competing with other affiliate sites, then I'm not
scared to go head-to-head.

So after I have my keyword, I set up a forum using Drupal.

You can use any open source forum script... I'm just used to Drupal
from building sites with it since 2006.

The next thing you do is go to PaidForumPosting and order the $97
per month package. You can use this coupon code for a small discount:
aba

They'll put 250 posts on your forum per month.

They are like actual forum users having a conversation.

You can't tell them and actual users apart... (I imagine these writers
enjoy chatting on forums and getting paid a little for it.)

You can give specific instructions for what kind of posts you're
looking for.

After they've created all user accounts they're going to be using, you
lock your site so that no one else can sign up and you don't have to
deal with spam.

Keep in mind you're not doing this to have a forum... you're doing this
for rankings.

Every month those 5 to 10 people who signed up will make unique posts
on your site updating your content.

You'll probably get traffic from longtail searches, but mostly you're
going after your main keyword in the header title of your index page
and in your domain name.

Now your content is on auto-pilot.

You don't have to lift a finger.

The next thing you do is put your backlinking on 100% autopilot.

The one thing that stumped me at first was thinking, "How can you build
a diverse link profile without doing a crapload of outsourcing to
different services to get backlinks from an array of different types of
sites?"

So that's what I looked around for... an SEO service that builds you a
diverse link profile month-to-month while you don't lift a finger.

I "stumbled across" one that'll do it for $77 per month called
KeywordMarketingPro. So far they're very professional. They came
highly recommended to me.

Now... Assuming I'm choosing the right keywords, I don't see a reason
why this autopilot strategy won't work.

It costs you $174 per month plus your hosting and domain fees all
together to have one of these autopilot SEO sites.

I'll probably give you updates about this project as I get more data
over the next few months.

Traffic Ain't Your Problem, Bub

Dear subscriber,

Traffic is never the problem.

Getting traffic is almost as easy as flipping on a switch.

You can get unlimited traffic just by using Google AdWords.

Not to mention all of the massive media buys and small media buys out
there.

There's solo ads, joint venture deals, SEO traffic...

The real problem (when there is a problem) is converting traffic into
sales.

It's NEVER a traffic problem.

So why does every failing affiliate think that traffic is his or her
problem?

Why do products about traffic fly off the digital shelves while ones
about selling don't?

Have you noticed that pretty much no major products launched are about
copywriting or selling?

Have you noticed that no one gives a rats anus about anything other
than traffic generation tactics?

The truth is it's all about how well you are pre-selling and what
offers you're choosing to promote.

You could buy all the traffic you want and outsource for SEO all you
want if you're converting your traffic into sales.

We affiliates have to be twice as good copywriters as product owners.

After all we're only getting 50% commissions in a lot of cases, plus we
have other affiliates competing with us selling the same offers.

It actually makes more sense to not be an affiliate at all... except
it's fun.

Anyway, just something to think about.

By the way, I was thinking about creating a product called Affiliate
Copywriting.

Then I remembered that I'd probably only sell 7 copies to a 70,000
subscriber list.

Do you think I should create the product anyway? I was thinking maybe
make it a short report... a 10 bucker...

WSO Super Affiliate With Only One Product Launch

This is a guest post by WSO Super Affiliate Brad Spencer.

business within 90 days and most likely much sooner."

In recent memory, Warrior Special Offers (WSOs) have grown to be one of
the fastest ways someone can enter the Internet Marketing niche quickly
and for a super tiny amount of capital.

In fact, for under $100 and a little bit of gumption and
follow-through, it's very easy to create a $2000-$3000 monthly business
with simple low-ticket WSOs offering 100% commissions on the front end
and bundling some high-quality highly-targeted resale rights products
on the backend with 100% commission.

While you don't make any money today, you develop high quality
friendships with other marketers as well as get a killer list of
buyers.

Best of all, this is a duplicatable system that you can do once or
twice every month to keep your list growing and fresh full of new buyer
leads.

So let's jump right in...

1. Create a High-Quality Low Ticket Item To Sell

This is actually a much simpler step than you might think. Most people
think a great product has to be 20 videos or something ridiculous.

That's bull****...

Some of the best products for newbies are creating interviews with
targeted professionals. Anyone who's had super success with PLR, Niche
Sites, Listbuilding, Affiliate Marketing, Webinars, Product Creation,
etc can be a great person to interview.

For example, lets say you find out someone recently did $1,378.32 in
sales selling low priced stuff to "free webinar" signups. Here's the
headline...

"Discover How Joe Smith Made $1,378.32 in Profits And Added 138 Buyers
To His List Simply By Running a Free Webinar".

Boom...then you just get "Joe Smith" to Spill The Beans...

Sell it for $5 then raise it a penny or a nickle per sale until it
reaches $9.95 and offer affiliates 100% commission to promote it.
This is super simple to do with Warriorplus or JVZoo

2. Bundle a Bunch Of High Quality Resale Rights Products As Your
One-Time-Offer (OTO)

Ok, the reality is that 95% of affiliates who will give you your buyer
list won't be interested in making $5.00- $9.95 sales. They need more
money than that.

So the way to sweeten this up is to offer them 100% commissions on your
One-TIme Offer (OTO).

NOTE: You Won't Make Money On Your First Offer From Product Sales...But
I Will Show You How to Make WSO Affiliate Commissions After We Get The
List...Stay Tuned

This will surely get you some decent affiliate action and sell some
units. Dimesales (raising the price every sale on the front end)
increase conversion rates in WSO-land and the 100% on your more
expensive ($17-$27) OTO will get a nice earnings per click (EPC) that
affiliates crave in WSO-ville.

Easiest way to find some high quality resale rights is to browse
PLRSO (Jimmy D. Brown's Internet Marketing PLR site) or look at Kim
Roach's Internet Marketing Rolodex 2012 edition found at
buzzblogger/2012-marketing-rolodex/. She has a section
on high quality PLR vendors you can use for your One Time Offers.

NOTE: Make sure PLR for your OTO is super relevant and there's lots of
it so your affiliates make good sales on the backend.

BONUS TIP: if you have a little bit of HTML skills, you could offer
limited resale rights to your front end product and make it a mini
"Business In A Box" and that way you don't have to really do any extra
work besides creating a license and making an HTML version of your
front end WSO sales page.

OK...Now That We Have Our Initial Launch Done...Here's How To Be A WSO
Super Affiliate

Remember how earlier we decided to give 100% commissions to the front
end and our OTO to make sure we get a killer offer for affiliates to
promote us (and build our list for us)...

You're going to track their upcoming WSOs and support them like crazy.

Wow...wait...

That's too simple...

NOPE...

The fact is that the people who support you will be your biggest
advocates. Taking care of them in return with your new list (if you
get 50 sales off 5 separate affiliates, thats 250 customers who can
buy...but 200 of those might not be on any given affiliate's list...so
thats 200 people who might not see the respective offer) AND contacting
your best affiliates with "launch information" (for free of course) is
a great way to make friends in the WSO business.

See, the WSO business has a 90-120 day cycle. Some vendors get tired of
the WSO game and move on. Others stay around, adapt, and grow their
reach. Basically, that means there is constantly new vendors coming
and going which means you can network very quickly with the power
players (since many players will be gone or "on the make" at any given
point).

This fact gives you tons of power and leverage in the marketplace.

Don't underestimate the power of how much this "JV recruitment"
strategy will pay off in the future.

So, here's how you get to "Makin' The Bacon" so to speak as a WSO Super
Affiliate...

1. Run The WSO as I showed above. Repeat 1-2 a month.

2. Every affiliate who promotes you, contact personally and become
friends. Give them your email, skype, or other Instant Message
Service.

3. Write personal thank you message to each for promoting you.

4. Every day, be looking at the Warriorplus "Affiliates" section
for new WSOs coming out.

5. Buy WSOs regularly, review them, mail the good ones to your list.

6. Whenever one of your strong affiliates/new friends launches, mail
all your other strong affiliates/friends about it through a

PERSONAL (read: not aweber) email sharing the launch details.

7. Mail your new friends' WSOs primarily before new people you don't
know if the product is good and fits your list.

8. Go above and beyond for your friends ALWAYS.

If you follow this plan, you will easily have a VERY LARGE WSO business
within 90 days and most likely much sooner.

Fly Out Of Your Butt... But DFY Offers Will Always Sell Well

I want to let you in on a little insider secret that can ramp up your
sales, even if nothing seems to be converting for you lately.

There's so much opportunity in this for both product creators and
affiliates that it's not even funny!

The state of the economy doesn't matter.

It doesn't matter if your list hasn't bought anything from you for
months.

It doesn't matter if you've been in a selling slump for 10 years
straight.

Because THIS sells...

I'm talking about DFY- or, Done For You offers.

I've seen what I thought to be dead lists come out of the woodworks to
drop hundreds of dollars on DFY offers from a single e-mail.

I've seen massive bills and debts get paid fast from the promotion of a
single DFY offer.

For whatever reason DFY offers just flat out sell...

Prospects of all types are powerless against it.

I'm talking about simple things like setting up websites, squeeze
pages, setting up a profit funnel, loading up a month's worth of
autoresponder e-mails into someone's AWeber account, installing
WordPress, installing helpdesks...

You can even offer to do these things for free as long as the customer
signs up for hosting through your HostGator affiliate link. <-tactic
stolen from John Chow.

This also presents a unique opportunity for affiliates.

What's stopping you from going to someone who offers Done For You
services and creating a JV with them?

Maybe they're great at fulfilling the service, but you are great at
traffic generation because you're an affiliate and that's what we do.

You can even monopolize a DFY offer.

It's always more profitable for me as an affiliate when I monopolize an
offer!

Because here's the thing...

Traffic generation is easy.

Traffic generation is NEVER the problem... it's always a conversion
problem when there's a problem.

As an affiliate, the hardest part of converting traffic into sales
(when it comes to promoting good offers) is competing with 100+ other
affiliates who are promoting the same offer.

You can eliminate your competition if you go to a DFY provider and make
a unique JV deal with them to be the only affiliate who promotes their
offer. (I've written about negotiation tactics like these in my
advanced Commission Explosion Report.)

You can rake in profits every day and all day long without any
competition.

How? Integrate it into your e-mails and in your e-mail PSes, on your
download pages using banners, on your blog, as a one-time-offer after
someone opts into your list... the sky's the limit.

Bryan Zimmerman and E Brian Rose Are Frickin' SMART

Here's why Bryan Zimmerman and E Brian Rose are frickin SMART...

These are 2 marketers who have what I call the "Why Be A Basketball
Star When You Can Own The Stadium" mindset.

Think about it... it would be great to be a star making 10s of millions
of dollars.

But it would be better to be the guy who profits from all the players
for 100s of millions of dollars... while eating doughnuts and sipping
on sodas.

Mike Filsaime also has the mindset with PayDotCom.

Allen Says has the same mindset with Warrior Forum.

Mike Lantz has the same mindset with Warrior Plus.

Andy Fletcher has the same mindset with DigiResults.

Webinar Swaps is like an affiliate network for promoting webinars.

Affiliates promote webinars scheduled by the Webinar Swaps site.

Bryan and Brian get a cut of each sale.

So let's say 100 affiliates promote a website and that gets a webinar
room booked to capacity at 1000 seats.

If that live webinar closes at 40% then that's 400 sales.

If Brian and Bryan make $10 per sale, then they just made $4000.

Now... they also put the replays of the webinars on their site for
affiliates to mail straight to the webinar replays.

They get a cut of those replay sales.

You can imagine what they might make on a daily basis by having the
"Owner" mentality and thinking above the rest of us mere mortal
marketers.

Brian and Bryan recently launched JVZoo as well.

It's an actual affiliate network where affiliates promote sales pages.

Because they are so smart, I will now award Bryan Zimmerman and E Brian

In The Future... Email Marketing Will Be On Life Support

Dear subscriber,

E-mail marketers are in for a rude awakening.

This is going to make Google slaps looks like kisses on the cheek...

Although e-mail marketing has been around since the early days of the
internet, I don't believe it'll stand the test of time in your business
or mine.

Up until now it's been the most reliable source of traffic and reaching
your customers and prospects.

So why the heck won't it stand the test of time?

Because of many reasons.

Getting an e-mail delivered is getting closer to trying to fitting a
square peg into a round hole.

Plus 3rd party autoresponder companies are getting stricter on their
clients because of it.

(And not using a 3rd party autoresponder is a royal pain in the ass
getting your e-mails delivered).

I'm not predicting e-mail marketing will completely die...

I mean... it might die if regulatory agencies ban it all together...

But mainly I'm talking about the effectiveness of e-mail getting to the
point where it's not even worth it.

The cost of 3rd party autoresponder services have skyrocketed.

There's so much competition amongst e-mail marketers now that it seems
like we're all fighting over inboxes like it's the damn Civil War of
internet marketing.

Just in 2009 I could build a list of 5000 subscribers, send 1 e-mail
out, and generate 1,000 clicks from that list (while still fresh).

A fresh list of 5,000 subscribers today for me will generate maybe 250
clicks from an e-mail.

Competition, deliverability of e-mails... it all adds up.

It's still profitable now, but it's going to decline in profitability
as the years go by.

My prediction... The future squeeze page is only going to have a field
for a telephone number.

It won't be capturing e-mail addresses, because AR companies are too
expensive, deliverability is a joke, and even more of us e-mail
marketers will be like fighting over scraps.

In the future I can actually see a funnel going like this...

Telephone # Squeeze Page > Questionaire > One Time Offer > Upsells

This is all going to happen in the near future.

So you better get comfortable with talking on the phone (or hiring
someone who is).

You better get good at writing letters to send via snail mail.

What's the good news about this seemingly shitty marketing shift?

There is one thing...

The same thing that allows businesses to flourish with every change in
the business world...

Sales skills will prevail.

Copywriting skills will prevail.

The basic principles taught by guys like Jay Abraham will allow you to
continue to be successful.

You'll still be able to use the internet for lead generation.

You just won't be able to blast e-mail and rake in the kind of profits
we are in 2011-2012.

You know what else is a good alternative to e-mail marketing in the
future?

Having your own forum.

It's similar in that you've created your own world where you can easily
reach prospects and customers with advertising.

But basically we direct marketers should start using the telephone and
snail mail ASAP.

Internet marketers who have stood the test of time will make the shift
easily.

Others will get frustrated and quit.

So hone your sales and copywriting chops and get ready for the future.

Unfortunately there's no way for me to prove any of this unless someone
invents a time machine

In which case... I'd probably go to the future to find the cure for
AIDS or something instead of trying to find out whether e-mail
marketing has changed the way I predict it will.

Heads up: There's an ongoing spamdexing of Google searchbot algorithms. Sites that are 'copies of copies' and cloaked sites which include Zorgium keywords presented to search engine crawlers yet garbage content presented to human visitors were hosted on thousands of IP addresses and domains registered immediately after the introduction of Zorgium in November of 2009. The Hostgator/'The Planet'/Softlayer datacenters in Texas seem to be the epicenter of this activity in conjunction with anonymously registered domains of various TLD's but primarily .info domains at Godaddy which, in our opinion, has some sort of connection to the domains of goldmint.in and goldmint.org. Google has begun to notice this and has begun to lower the ranking of these sites and put our original sites back on top of the search rankings. These actions, as far as we can tell, negatively impact the use of the keyword 'zorgium' as a search term and provided little benefit, if any, to the perpetrators.

ZORGIUM note to content providers: If you don't want your page to appear in Zorgium's search abstraction then put an exclusion for "Zorgium" in your web server's robots.txt file.
